So why doesn't your communication always make people see it?

You have the expertise. You have the experience. You know your work. But in important workplace conversations, do you sometimes:

Take too long to get to the point?
Over-explain because you want people to understand the full context?
Soften your recommendations even when you have a strong point of view?
Hesitate when speaking to senior people?
Become defensive when someone challenges your thinking?
Find yourself speaking differently when the pressure rises?

If you recognised yourself in even one of these situations, this Sprint is for you.

If this sounds familiar, the Sprint is for you.

Three days to turn these patterns into clarity, authority, and composure.

Your expertise deserves a stronger voice.

Think about the last time you were in an important meeting. You knew the answer. You had done the work. You understood the problem. But when it was your turn to speak, perhaps you gave too much background, said "I think maybe..." when you had a recommendation, or rushed when someone challenged you.

This doesn't necessarily mean you lack communication skills. Sometimes, your communication simply isn't carrying the full weight of your expertise.

Because people don't experience everything you know. They experience what you communicate.

The Capability Paradox

Expertise ≠ Perceived Leadership

Your colleagues may never see

  • The years you've spent building expertise
  • The hours you spent solving the problem
  • The research behind your recommendation
  • The difficult decisions you made
  • The work you did behind the scenes

They experience

  • What you say.
  • How clearly you say it.
  • How confidently you stand behind it.
  • How you respond when challenged.

That's why communication is not just a "soft skill." It is part of how your professional capability is perceived.

Three Communication Shifts

SPEAK WITH CLARITY™ is built around three shifts.

01 — Clarity

Say what matters

Learn to communicate the important point without making people search for it. Get to the point, structure your message, and lead with the headline.

"Let me explain everything first..."

"Here's what matters."

02 — Authority

Speak with authority

Learn to express your thinking without unnecessarily diluting it. Recognise hedging language, make clear recommendations, and speak to senior stakeholders.

"I was just wondering if maybe..."

"I recommend..."

03 — Composure

Communicate under pressure

Practise pausing before responding, handling challenging questions, acknowledging concerns, and staying useful when the conversation becomes uncomfortable.

React → Defend → Explain

Pause → Think → Respond

This is not a webinar.

It's a practice experience.

You don't need another presentation telling you "Be confident" or "Communicate effectively." You've probably heard those things before. The question is: what do you actually do when your manager challenges your recommendation? What do you say when a senior leader disagrees with you? How do you answer when you're asked something you don't immediately know? How do you communicate a problem without sounding defensive? How do you make your expertise visible without talking more?

That's what we'll practise.

Ready to practise?

This is a live, interactive Sprint — not another webinar to watch.

Your 3-Day Experience

Three days. Three shifts. One stronger way to communicate.

DAY 1

Say What Matters

The Clarity Shift

You'll learn to identify the message beneath the explanation and communicate it more directly.

  • Headline-first communication
  • Point → Reason → Next Step
  • Concise workplace responses
  • Turning long explanations into clear messages

Your takeaway

A simple structure for communicating what matters.

DAY 2

Speak With Authority

The Authority Shift

You'll explore how language can either strengthen or dilute your point of view.

  • Removing unnecessary hedging
  • Expressing recommendations
  • Speaking with senior stakeholders
  • Respectful disagreement
  • Authority without aggression

Your takeaway

A stronger way to express and stand behind your thinking.

DAY 3

Communicate Under Pressure

The Composure Shift

You'll practise what happens when communication becomes difficult.

  • Challenging questions
  • Difficult conversations
  • Interruptions
  • Disagreement
  • Uncertainty
  • Accountability
  • High-pressure workplace scenarios

Your takeaway

A practical reset for staying clear and composed under pressure.

Three days. Three shifts. One stronger way to communicate.

How We'll Learn

This is a live, interactive Sprint. Not three days of listening to slides.

Real workplace scenarios

Because communication problems don't happen in textbooks. They happen in meetings, reviews, presentations, and difficult conversations.

Live discussion

You'll reflect on situations from your own professional life.

Role play

You'll actually practise responding to challenging workplace situations.

Before → After examples

You'll hear the difference between technically correct communication and communication that carries authority.

Practical exercises

You'll work on situations that are relevant to your actual work.

Feedback

You'll have opportunities to notice what you're currently doing, what changes when you use the framework, and what still needs practice.

What you will leave with

By the end of the Sprint, you'll have:

A clearer way to structure workplace messages
Tools to reduce unnecessary over-explaining
A stronger approach to making recommendations
Greater awareness of language that dilutes authority
Techniques for handling challenging questions
A practical pause-and-respond method
Experience applying the skills to workplace scenarios
A Participant Workbook
A Communication Toolkit
A 7-Day Speak With Clarity™ Application Challenge
A Certificate of Participation

Most importantly: you'll have practised the behaviour — not simply learned the theory.

Leave with more than theory.

A workbook, toolkit, 7-day challenge, certificate — and practised skills.

This Sprint is about something more specific: how your communication influences the way your professional capability is experienced.

A note from Kavita
"I've spent much of my work helping professionals understand something that is easy to overlook: Being capable and being perceived as capable are not always the same thing. And communication sits right in the middle."

Your appearance communicates. Your behaviour communicates. Your body language communicates. And your words communicate. But what interests me most is what happens when all of these begin to support the same professional identity.

That's the larger work I do around Executive Presence, Communication, Authority and Professional Image. Speak With Clarity™ focuses on one important piece of that puzzle:

Can your communication carry the weight of your expertise?

I'm creating the first cohort as a small, interactive experience because I want to work with participants — not simply speak at them.

The Founding Cohort

A smaller group. More practice. More interaction.

For the first cohort, I'm intentionally keeping the group limited. The goal is not to fill a large webinar room. The goal is to create an environment where you can speak, practise, experiment, receive feedback, and try again. That's where communication skills actually begin to change.

Before you join, ask yourself:

Which of these sounds most familiar?

A

I know what I want to say, but I take too long to get there.

B

I have a strong point of view, but I sometimes soften how I express it.

C

I'm fine when things are calm, but I struggle when someone challenges me.

D

Honestly, all three.

If you chose D, you're probably exactly where this Sprint begins.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an online programme?

Yes. The Sprint is conducted live on Zoom.

How long is each session?

Approximately 60–70 minutes. The sessions are deliberately compact and practice-oriented.

Will this be recorded?

The primary experience is designed to be live because interaction, practice and feedback are central to the Sprint.

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

No extensive preparation is required. You will be encouraged to bring one or two real workplace communication situations that you'd like to improve.

Will there be role plays?

Yes. Role play and realistic workplace scenarios are an important part of the Sprint. You will not be expected to perform or 'act.' The purpose is to practise communication in situations that resemble real professional conversations.

Is this only for managers?

No. It is particularly relevant to professionals who are moving toward greater responsibility, visibility or leadership. You don't need to have a managerial title.

Is this an English-speaking course?

The Sprint focuses on professional communication, not English grammar or language correction. The goal is to help you communicate your thinking with greater clarity, authority and composure.

What if I'm already a good communicator?

The Sprint isn't designed to teach basic communication. It is especially useful if you're already competent but want to become more effective in high-stakes conversations, senior interactions, recommendations, disagreement and pressure situations.

Will this guarantee a promotion?

No. No communication programme can responsibly guarantee a promotion. What the Sprint can do is help you strengthen a critical part of how your capability is communicated and experienced at work.

Is this the same as LeaderShift™?

No. Think of Speak With Clarity™ as a focused communication Sprint. LeaderShift™ is a broader leadership transformation experience involving communication, authority, presence, visibility, leadership identity and promotion readiness. Speak With Clarity™ can be an entry point for professionals who want to strengthen one important part of that larger journey.

Ready to make your communication carry more weight?

You don't need to become louder. You don't need to become someone you're not. You don't need to perform confidence. You need to communicate your thinking with greater clarity, authority, and composure.
